Andrew Cook – Managing Director
Andrew has lived and breathed advanced Applicaiton Delivery Networking and Internet Security technologies and solutions across the ANZ and Asia-Pacific regions since 1999 being involved in many of the region’s premier financial, media, eCommerce, and hosting deployments.
His overall career in the IT, Telecommunications, and Internet sectors spans 30 years in a range of leadership, senior management, product marketing, architecture, technical, and consulting roles. Andrew has created and led a number of outstanding systems engineering and consulting teams during that time.
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Computing Science (Hons) at UTS and a raft of industry certifications.
Simon Fennen – Principal Consultant
Simon is a talented consultant and leader with a long and successful history driving IT strategy, and facilitating the adoption of innovative and business-driven IT solutions for his clients and those organisations he has worked with. He possesses a strong commercial and technical understanding of communications technologies, and extensive experience working for technology vendors and integrators in Australia, Asia, and North America.
Simon has undertaken senior leadership and management roles in a number of organisations including National Practice Manager - Connectivity Practice at Volante, Director - Solutions Design Group - Asia-Pacific at Planet-One, Engineering Director - Asia-Pacific at 3D Networks, Manager - Channel Systems Engineering at Nortel Networks, as well as senior technical roles at Juniper Networks, Nortel Networks, and Bay Networks. Simon has consistently acted as the catalyst to drive innovation, change, and commercial growth through the organisations he has worked with.
Simon holds a Bachelor of Science(Business IT) from UNSW and a raft of industry certifications.

Our core team is the powerhouse behind the Smartworx business, and our capabilities extend far beyond our areas of specialisation. Nevertheless, we maintain an extensive range of contacts and partners able to augment and expand our engineering skills and delivery capabilities to meet our customer’s needs.
Having created and managed some of the leading Systems Engineering teams in the APAC region for a number of vendors and integrators, we retain great access to the best of the best technical talent. Of course, we are accountable at all times for our overall team performance and deliverables.
Our business support team
Beyond our extended service delivery team, we have our business support teams – our advisors and coaches, our bank and accountants, our legal council, and our marketing team. These support teams allow us to continue to focus on our core business and our areas of specialisation.
